American country legend Naomi Judd (76) has died, known for the 1989 classic “Why not me”

The family says that Judd suffered from mental health problems. Indeed, in 2016, Naomi revealed that she was struggling with severe depression and fears since she and her daughter stopped touring (in 2011). “I didn’t leave my house for three weeks and stayed in my pajamas,” she told the show “Good morning America.” That same year she wrote a book about her demons, but also about hope.

The Judds had recently announced that they were planning another series of performances in the fall. Just today The Judds would be included in the Country Music Hall of Fame† The duo would be honored for their “signature harmonies, powerful lead vocals and acoustic accompaniments with elements of folk and blues”.
