Two American Island class boats on their way to Ukraine

The boats provided to Kiev by Washington are intended to strengthen the Ukrainian Naval Forces.
The cargo ship Ocean Grand with two Island-class patrol boats, leaving Baltimore and bound for the port of Odessa, has already crossed the Dardanelles, reports Reuters. Ukrainian sailors have already been trained under the expanded program on ships in the United States.

The new Island boats are part of a US $ 2.5 billion security package for Ukraine. This support from the United States has continued since 2014.
