American Airlines announced that he will conduct a change of aircraft on its route between Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) and Chihuahua (CUU), which operates two daily frequencies, with which the number of passengers will increase by plane.
From November 2021, the route was operated by a CRJ 700 which has a capacity for 65 passengers and, as of May 5, the airline operates a Airbus 319with capacity for 128 passengers.
“We are very proud to be able to increase capacity on the route to Chihuahua from our largest hub in Dallas/Fort Worth, thus providing greater seat availability for our customers,” said José María Giraldo, managing director of Mexico, Central America and Caribbean in American.
The American airline currently operates around 600 weekly flights to 28 destinations in Mexicoincluding: Acapulco, Aguascalientes, Cancún, Chetumal, Chihuahua, Mexico City, Cozumel, Culiacán, Durango, Guadalajara, Hermosillo, Huatulco, La Paz, León, Loreto, Mazatlán, Mérida, Monterrey, Morelia, Oaxaca, Puerto Vallarta, Querétaro , San José del Cabo, San Luis Potosí, Torreón, Zacatecas, Zihuatanejo and Manzanillo.
