American actor Clarence Gilyard Jr., best known to viewers for his role in the series ‘Walker Texas Ranger’, has died at the age of 66, the site announced Variety. The cause of his death has not been disclosed.
During his career, the actor has been seen in the casting of “Arnold and Wily”, the detective series “Chips”, in “Karate Kid 2” or in “Top Gun”. In the film “Crystal Trap” Clarence Gilyard Jr played the hacker terrorist Theo.
The actor also played James “Jimmy” Trivette in the series “Walker Texas Ranger”. He was present in the casting, alongside Chuck Norris, between 1993 and 2001. In recent years, the actor has been a professor of film and theater at the College of Fine Arts of the University of Nevada in Las Vegas (USA ).
