September 11, 2001: is the day when America, for the first time in history, is attacked within its borders with the most spectacular action ever documented. Two planes shoot down the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York, a third hit the Pentagon, while the fourth crashes before reaching (presumably) the White House in Washington. That day changed our life, and on that day we spoke and wrote millions of words, necessary to describe, to analyze, to understand. On the occasion of the twentieth anniversary, we therefore decided to build a documentary without words, with only original video and audio, which would restore in all its terrifying purity the enormity of that morning twenty years ago.
