Coelho released a video, on the club’s social networks, with the player sending a message to the American fans.

“Hello, fans of Coelhão. Orlando Berrío is speaking here. I’m very, very happy to be part of this centenary club. We’re together! In a little while I’ll be there. Thanks” (said the player, from inside a plane)

Orlando Berrío became known in Brazil for his time at Flamengo. He arrived at the Rio de Janeiro club in 2017 and stayed until 2020. In July of last year, he amicably terminated with Rubro-Negro to settle with Khor Fakkan, from the United Arab Emirates. However, after 7 months at the club and without playing in any game, Berrío ended his contract with the Arab team.

For Flamengo, Berrío won the Copa Libertadores and the 2019 Brazilian Championship. With the red-black shirt, he played 24 games and scored just one goal. The forward also won three editions of the Carioca Championship (2017, 2019, 2020), two Guanabara Cups (2018, 2020), one Rio Cup (2019) and one of the Florida Tournament (2019). With the shirt of Atlético Nacional, from Colombia, he also won the 2016 Libertadores.
