The American actress will leave the series “Superstore” at the end of its fifth season, the final episode of which will be broadcast on April 16 on American television. “The last five years on + Supersotre + have been the most rewarding, rewarding and fun of my career,” America Ferrera said in a statement. “Producing, directing and performing with this wonderful cast and crew has given me the opportunity to grow as an individual and an author. America Ferrera plays Amy, one of the main characters with Ben Feldman as Jonah. The series tells the daily life of the employees of a large distribution store in the suburb of Sains-Louis in Missouri.
In addition to appearing in front of the camera, the actress also held the role of executive producer and director within the series for which she signed four episodes.
A departure commented in particular by Lauren Ash, who plays Dina in the series “Superstore”. The latter expressed her sadness at the departure of her colleague and friend: “The team started this adventure as strangers and quickly became a family. The idea that one of the family members will not be there after 5 years, well, it’s hard for me to accept, ”Lauren Ash wrote on her Instagram account, along with a photo of America Ferrera and herself from the show.
