América Femenil ends Tigres’ undefeated streak

It took 14 days for the undefeated Tigres women’s team to fall. América was the executioner of the current champions. In a power-to-power duel, the capital’s team suffered to end the Monterrey team’s streak. It was not an easy task for the Águilas who, despite the pressure exerted by their rival in the final minutes, managed to win 2-1 at the Volcán, that court where they have lost two finals.
