Pachuca congratulated the America on social networks for being crowned in Champions Cupafter beating Columbus Crew in a penalty shootout (5-4) and some azulcrema fans took advantage of the publication to joke about the ‘fatherhood’ of the Tuzos over the Águilas.
Just a few months ago, Pachuca gave André Jardine one of the most painful defeats in his career as coach of the America. In the semifinals of the Concacaf Champions Cup, the Tuzos beat the Águilas 3-2 on aggregate and left them with no chance of qualifying for the 2025 Club World Cup.
