Another stage of the America Express has gone and, with each passing day of the competition, the emotions are getting higher. For one team, however, they ended in the semi-final on Wednesday, March 15.
America Express, the toughest reality show in Romania, is on the last hundred meters of the season with number 5.
Jean and Dinu Gavril, the last ones
The Golden Road no longer continues for Dinu and Jean Gavril, who came last to Irina Fodor, in the race for the last chance.
The 9th stage of America Express was full of challenges, unexpected situations and difficult tests, as the contestants were put through an overwhelming adventure on the Golden Road. Each team is giving their best to grab a place in the Grand Final. Andreea Bălan and Andreea Antonescu, Dinu and Jean Gavril, Nelu Cortea and Cătălin Bordea, plus Cătălin Scarlătescu and Doina Teodoru are the four star teams left in the competition.
Right from the start of the semi-final on March 15, Irina Fodor gave the competitors terrible news about the eagle in the chest, announcing that an elimination would follow, which it did. As Jean and Dinu Gavril came last, the two left America Express.
The battle for the last chance of survival took place between the pairs Jean and Dinu Gavril, Cătălin Bordea and Nelu Cortea, Cătălin Scarlătescu and Doina Teodoru. On an extremely difficult route, full of unpredictable situations, the competitors gave their best in the race. But, despite their efforts, Jean and Dinu Gavril were the last to reach Irina Fodor.
„This was fate!”, declared Jean Gavril at the end, resigned.
America Express, cel mai dur reality show
After four seasons in which they took Asia by storm, season 5 moves the stars from Romania to another continent. America Express – The Golden Road gathered 9 known pairs at the start, carrying them through Mexico, Guatemala and Colombia, on a route of more than 7000 kilometers.
Competitors are chef Cătălin Scarlătescu and his girlfriend, actress Doina Teodoru, Puya and his wife, Melinda, Andreea Antonescu and Andreea Bălan, Cătălin Bordea and Nelu Cortea, stylist Ovidiu Buta and artistic director Joaquin Bonilla, Jean Gavril and his brother, Dinu, singer Bruja and her friend, Pufeh, gymnasts Larisa Iordache and Diana Bulimar, Bie Adam and her mother.
Also, Irina Fodor will accompany the contestants in the biggest challenge of their lives so far.
The America Express Grand Final will take place on March 26, 2023 and will be shown on Antena 1.
