MCU fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the second installment of Doctor Strange. Entitled “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”, this feature film will not arrive in theaters until May 2022. People expect a lot from this film. They hope that he will answer in particular the questions they have concerning Wanda Maximoff, but also concerning the Multiverse.
In addition to answering these questions, Doctor Strange 2 will introduce new characters to the MCU. One thinks among others of America Chavez, also known as Miss America. In the feature film, the latter will be played by Xochitl Gomez.

So far, not much was known about this character. But that was before the film’s merchandise hit the web. On some of these products you can clearly see what America Chavez will look like.
Discover the look of Miss America
For the promotion of the film, Marvel unveiled several products. On the images, we discover in particular jogging pants showing the main characters of Doctor Strange 2. In the foreground, we see Doctor Strange, played by Benedict Cumberbatch.
Right next to him, we see Wong, the character played by Benedict Wong. And near Wong, we discover the face of America Chavez. The latter is located just below Wanda Maximoff whose role is played by Elizabeth Olsen.
Who is America Chavez?
Although she shows us the look of America Chavez, this image does not tell us much about the role she will play in the film. We guess, however, that she will form an alliance with Doctor Strange and Wong.
America Chavez first appeared in the MCU through the Vengeance # 1 comic book. The one known as Miss America was raised by her mothers in a utopian parallel world where a being known as the Demiurge lives. America Chavez will then eventually inherit some of the powers of this being. She then decides to travel through different realities and chooses to become a superheroine.
America Chavez is known for being able to fly and for her superhuman strength. It can also open holes in reality. And we can guess that this ability will help the Master of the Mystical Arts a lot in Doctor Strange 2.
