Harry Graf Kessler, born in Paris in 1868, grew up in France and England. Studied law and art history in Bonn and Leipzig. 1895 Supervisory board of the magazine “PAN”. Several trips around the world. Acquaintance with, among others, Hofmannsthal, Henry van de Velde, Rilke, Rathenau. Worked for the Nietzsche Archive in Weimar. 1913 First “Cranach Press” workshop. 1917 Peace explorations with France. 1918 German ambassador in Warsaw. March 1933: Kessler leaves Germany. Moved to Paris, then to Mallorca. 1937 Kessler dies in Lyon.
Johannes Steck was born in Würzburg in 1966. He is a trained theater painter and a graduate of Professor Krauss’ acting school in Vienna, where he studied from 1988 to 1991. In addition to his stage work in Vienna, Chemnitz, Würzburg and Darmstadt, he can also be seen on television. Johannes Steck also works as a radio, television and audio book speaker.
