América Femenil tied in their visit to the Jalisco Stadium 2-2 against Atlas and continues without beating the Guadalajara team that arrived in the League.
Las Rojinegras opened the scoring in the final part of the first half, Claudia Ibarra was in charge of giving her squad the advantage. However, things changed in the second half.
The Águilas del América reacted and with Kiana Palacios’ double they went ahead on the scoreboard for the first time in the match, Palacios scored at 53′ and 61′.
However, Atlas tied the score at 88′ with Alejandra Lomelí’s score.
With this tie, the azulcremas reached seven points in the 2022 Opening of the Liga MX, however, they continue without beating the Guadalajara squad.
It is worth mentioning that Alison González made her debut with the Águilas, the former roginegra arrived at the capital institution for the last tournament, but had no activity due to physical problems.
