Law No. 210 of 2020 amending some provisions of the Psychiatric Patient Care Law promulgated by Law No. 71 of 2009 allowed anyone other than psychiatrists who had spent at least five years practicing the profession of psychotherapy at the time this amendment came into force, and who did not meet the conditions required for a license to practice the profession of psychotherapy. According to its provisions, he must submit to the committee within one year from the date of implementation of this amendment to consider licensing him to continue practicing the profession of psychotherapy after verifying the availability of the stipulated conditions, and his scientific and practical competence to practice this type of treatment.
