AMD’s FSR 3 Could Debut in September, Alongside Navi 32 Graphics Cards

The long-awaited third incarnation of AMD’s frame rate boosting technology is on the way, and could even debut in September, according to insider Moore’s Law is Dead (MLID), who shared this information in the latest roller on YouTube.

In any case, it was known that FSR 3 was almost ready, and NVIDIA competitor DLSS 3 should be launched in the fourth quarter of 2023. AMD’s strategy is to have FSR 3 come out with the upcoming Navi 32 graphics cards, or at least be close to them. Theoretically, these are the RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT, and they will presumably be revealed at Gamescom later this month, before launching in September.

AMD announced FSR 3 a long time ago – nine months ago, in fact, and we’ve heard quite a bit about it since then. It started to feel like her announcement was more of a reflex reaction to the launch of NVIDIA DLSS 3 — the technology was first unveiled last September.

If FSR 3 is indeed released at the same time as the new mid-range RDNA 3 products are released, it will clearly give these GPUs a bit more incentive in terms of their hype.
