The leaker’s claim has now turned into reality when a major US retailer MicroCenter announced a collaboration with AMD, the result of which is exclusive offer of a new CPU.
Yes, AMD is indeed going to offer Ryzen 5 5600X3D. It will join the Ryzen 7 5800X3D processor, which debuted in April last year and almost automatically became the center of attention. Thanks to the higher cache capacity, it offered extraordinary improvements in game performance, and it was quite affordable in terms of price. By the way, due to the pricing, it is still popular today – it is suitable, for example, for gamers who find it pointless to buy a new generation processor and prefer to invest their money in a better graphics card. In addition, AM4 boards are significantly cheaper than the new AM5.
Ryzen 5 5600X3D has six cores and twelve threads. Due to the use of 3D V-Cache technology, which raises the capacity of the L3 cache to 96 MBbut it was necessary knock down the frequency a bit.
