AMD RX 6600: final specifications and benchmarks of the new Radeon

The Radeon RX 6600 will be a truncated version of the RX 6600 XT with a Navi 23 chip, but behind the scenes there is talk that there will not be many of them on the market. This is said to be a consequence of the fact that 7nm production is already well managed and often forms flawless chips. At the same time, AMD demonstrably does not want to sell cheap products, so logically it will not even want to artificially cut the Navi 23 for RX 6600 cards. In addition, there are other candidates for less successful Navi 23 they have all 1792 Stream processors as well as the RX 6600.

The Radeon RX 6600 as well as the XT version will not be available in the reference design. If the AIB manufacturer wants to comply with the default specifications, it will offer a card with a GPU of 1792 cores at 2044 MHz (Game Clock) to 21491 MHz (turbo). All other specifications except for the TBP 132 W will be the same as for the XT version, so we have 32 MB of Infinity Cache and 8 GB of GDDR6 on a 128-bit interface with 256 GB / s. And what about performance? According to VideoCardz This is leaked data directly from AMD:-

In the first table we have AAA titles in Full HD and the RX 6600 is compared here mainly with the GeForce RTX 3060, whose performance should be more or less equal, which of course will also depend on the choice of games.

In Esports games it will be a bit weaker, but there the FPS are usually so high that we can hardly care and in the end we have a comparison in ray tracing, where Radeon is losing more as expected.
