The start of the year is traditionally fruitful for new product announcements thanks to CES. Three major computer component manufacturers in the face of AMD, Intel and NVIDIA have confirmed their participation in the upcoming CES 2023 electronics exhibition in one format or another.
NVIDIA has prepared a “special message” for CES 2023. The company will not organize any live broadcasts or directly participate in the exhibition. Instead, the manufacturer will post a pre-recorded video message on their social networks. At CES 2022, NVIDIA chief Jensen Huang did not show up. NVIDIA isn’t saying who will deliver a “special message” at the upcoming CES. But it is very likely that Huang will not take part in it.
NVIDIA will hold its speech on January 3 at 19:00 Moscow time. The company is expected to introduce two products: GeForce RTX 40-series mobile graphics cards for powerful gaming laptops and a desktop graphics accelerator. GeForce RTX 4070Ti. Sales of the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti will reportedly begin January 5, which is just two days after the announcement.
AMD’s presentation at CES 2023 will be hosted by CEO Lisa Su. The meeting will take place on January 5, at 5:30 Moscow time. Announcements from the manufacturer are awaited junior models Ryzen 7000-series desktop processors, Ryzen 7000 mobile processors, and possibly RDNA 3 mobile graphics. Unlike NVIDIA’s presentation, AMD will be attending CES 2023 directly and will also broadcast its event live.
Intel has not confirmed plans to hold press conferences or live streams for the upcoming Electronics Show. However, the manufacturer will show the new products at a private event by invitation.
Among the expected announcements from Intel are the youngest models of Raptor Lake desktop processors, mobile processors 13th generation HX, HK and H series cores. In addition, the company must provide, disclose the price and release date for the flagship desktop processor Core i9-13900KScapable of automatically overclocking to 6GHz.
