AMD included the sixteen-core Ryzen 9 7945HX, the eight-core Ryzen 7 7745HX and the six-core Ryzen 5 7645HX from the upcoming four models. The twelve-core Ryzen 9 7845HX was not available for some reason.
The reason may be the simple fact that 55W+ generation processors are not yet available Raptor Lake / Core 13000 and twelve-core Ryzen 9 7845HX target higher Core i7 models such as 13700HX or lower Core i9 models such as 13900H (there is no adequate model in the 12000 series).
However, take the comparison as indicative, in practice, the performance of mobile processors is very dependent on how the notebook manufacturer sets the TDP, how they set the consumption limit, what paste (or liquid metal) they use, what the cooler is sized for and the shape. The results of the same processor can vary by tens of percent depending on these factors, and in practice it is quite common for a higher model in the chassis of one manufacturer to perform worse than a lower model in the chassis of another manufacturer.
In conclusion, it remains to add that the performance measurements took place already in December, so another element may be BIOS tuning, which may also change significantly in more than two months.
