AMD Collaborates with Bethesda to Optimize Starfield for PC and Announces Hardware Requirements

AMD’s close collaboration with Bethesda isn’t to everyone’s liking, but the graphics card and processor maker helped the game’s creators master all the announced platforms. In official announcements, the focus is on the PC.

The corporation confirmed the leaked information about special GPU and CPU kits, and also disclosed Starfield’s requirements for specific resolution settings and for users using AMD components.

For a “legendary 4K experience” or “the absolute best Starfield experience” you’ll need an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D with an AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT, and will perform best on an AMD X670 motherboard.

If the specified set is not affordable, then you can look at 1080p – the manufacturer indicated that even this resolution will allow you to enjoy “great visuals and a satisfactory frame rate.” But you will need AMD Ryzen 5 7600, AMD Radeon RX 7600 and AMD A620.

Additional information is published on Steam, however, still without details about NVIDIA components.
