AMD’s CEO Lisa Su has confirmed that the Ryzen 7000 series CPUs to be released before September 30th. In a conversation with investors, about the new quarterly figuresshe said the release is on track, with a launch later this quarter.
September has been mentioned in the many rumors for some time, but has now really been confirmed. According to Wccftech, the first Ryzen 7000 processors are in store from September 15thand the announcement event is already taking place later this month (August 29).
The quarterly figures of Q2 certainly do not look bad. Turnover was 70 percent higher than in the second quarter of 2021: 6.43 billion euros. Nearly three billion of that was profit. The costs were a lot higher than last year, about 2.46 billion euros (151 percent more than Q2 2021). Ultimately, the net income turned out to be lower as a result: ‘only’ 439 million euros.
