According to the American newspaper, it is an “elitist security company” full of former soldiers and ex-government agents. The team of bodyguards would have been stationed outside the court and Heard would pay each guard about $115 an hour. According to an internal memo from the firm, which the NY Post was able to access, the guards must look for “lone wolves trying to gain access to the environment, the vehicles or the courtroom.” The memo also states that the guards should not be “predictable or self-righteous” while on duty.

The news comes after Depp’s supporters made serious threats. Footage shows Heard being booed as she exits court and according to the NY Post, “insane Depp fans have chased Heard’s car.” But also online, Heard and her lawyers have to deal with death wishes: “Moral question: is it okay to kill Amber Heard’s lawyer?” someone writes on Twitter. Or also: “I want to brutally kill Amber Heard” and “Who wants to join me on my expedition to the brutal murder of Amber Heard?”
