Whether to give aid and what kind is a matter of responsibility and conscience of each political force, said the Ambassador of Ukraine to Bulgaria Vitaly Moskalenko on BTV on the occasion of the decision of the Bulgarian Parliament for aid to Ukraine. I respect the positions of GERB, DB and PP, I can understand the position of political forces that categorically reject the need for assistance – this is a matter of internal political struggles, said Moskalenko.
The letter I sent to parliament was my personal letter, he added. It was prompted by the need to implement the agreements during Bulgarian Prime Minister Kiril Petkov’s visit to Ukraine and the agreements reached with President Zelensky. I decided to attract the attention of the Bulgarian Parliament in order to implement all these agreements, including the repair of Ukrainian military equipment in Bulgarian enterprises.
I have great respect for Boyko Borissov, but his words are a matter of politics, said Ambassador Moskalenko regarding the criticism of the GERB leader. Vitaly Moskalenko also said that he had not held talks with Cornelia Ninova, but hoped that there would be an opportunity in the context of the questions he raised before the Bulgarian Parliament.
