/ world today news/ On June 24 (Thursday) at 4:40 p.m. Mrs. Eleonora Mitrofanova – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation, together with the performers from the “Turetsky” choir, representatives of the Embassy of the Russian Federation and the Honorary Consul of the Russian Federation in Plovdiv Mr. Georgi Gergov will present flowers to the Alyosha monument.
Ambassador Mitrofanova will also attend the concert of the infamous group with conductor Mikhail Turetsky, who will sing and dance for the Plovdiv audience from 5:00 p.m. at the monument.
The concert is part of the group’s world tour under the title UNITY SONG, uniting with its songs different times and five generations around the world. UNITYSONG is a project of the Government of Moscow, supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and the ObshcheeDelo (lit.: CommonCause) Foundation.
