Commenting on this, the Russian ambassador in Washington, Anatoly Antonov, said that the new sanctions cannot affect Russia’s attitude and position, but will only damage the reputation of the United States. “These actions simply confirm the inability of the American government to make Russia give up protecting its interests,” he pointed out.
