Anyone who has been eyeing an Amazon device to make their home smarter, this might be the ideal time to secure a new accessory.
With any of Amazon’s smart speakers, you can control different parts of your home with just your voice. You talk to Alexa and ask her to turn off the kitchen light, play music, turn on the coffee maker, or prepare the room for marathoner that series of the moment.
Of course, along with the interactive boxes, you’ll need to configure these lights and outlets (sold separately) for it to work optimally. Apple has even done this for some time, but its MFi-compatible products and accessories are much more expensive.
This entire week (April 10th-14th), Amazon is doing the Alexa Sale Weekwith the same prices she practiced on Black Friday (and which were great).
Check out some promotion tips this week:
Amazon Echo (4th generation)
This interactive speaker can be placed in the living room or in any room in your home to serve as a bridge for your smart home.
You can talk to her to ask for things like knowing the temperature in your city (or inside your house), activating a timer while you cook or even playing songs from a certain artist or even from an online radio station.
During other times of the year it costs R$749.00, but this week you can get a great discount on it:
These prices only last until the end of the week.
Amazon Echo Dot (4th generation)
The model Dot is the version smaller from normal Echo. The sound isn’t premium, but otherwise it does everything its big brother does.
Usually people choose to place it in other rooms of the house, while the largest one is in the main room. Or else it is the option of those who want to enter the world of Alexa, paying less.
The regular price is BRL 399.00, but you can guarantee yours for much less:
Echo Show 5 (2nd Gen)
If you prefer an interactive terminal with a screen, then your choice is the Echo Show. With it you have visual information as well and not just sound.
Also, because it has a front camera, you can make video calls between Echo devices, in addition to monitor your home.
This week you can save almost R$200 on Echo Show:
Of course, if you opt for another Echo model, you can buy a monitoring camera aside to work with it.
Echo Show 10
If you want to combine high-performance sound with a 10-inch interactive screen and monitoring cameras (with movement), then it might be a good idea to invest in an Echo Show 10.
This model is almost HomePod (from Apple), with an attached iPad. There are even rumors saying that Apple would be thinking about just such a product in the future.
It usually costs two thousand reais, but this week you can get a discount of almost R$400 on it:
Do they work with the iPhone?
If you are an iPhone user, you don’t need to worry. All configuration is done through the Alexa app for iOS, and most of the time you will interact directly with the accessory, by voice.
It has Apple Music integration, so you can continue enjoying your subscription, now throughout the house.
I myself got my first Echo last Black Friday and I don’t regret it. It made our daily life a lot easier, even when shopping, because when something is missing from the pantry, my wife or I ask Alexa to add the item, so we don’t forget it later at the supermarket.
The product is good and I advise you to try it. And in the future there is the promise of Amazon devices to be compatible with Matter on iOS, which will further improve integration with HomeKit.
