Amazon’s AI-Powered Customer Feedback Function Now More Accessible and Expansive

Two months ago, we already wrote that the e-commerce giant Amazon is testing a new function that collects customer feedback on a specific product with the help of artificial intelligence (MI). Now the company has made this option more accessible to a wider range of customers, as well as applied to many more products.

The new solution aggregates hundreds and thousands of reviews into a single paragraph that briefly and concisely explains what most buyers like and dislike about a particular product, its features, functions and user experience. It’s true, if you look more closely, you can see that in these AI-generated summaries, more focus is placed on the good features of the product, less attention is paid to the negative ones and they are left for the end. In addition, Amazon highlights certain words at the end of these summaries that may be important to the user, such as “ease of use”, “performance”, etc. Clicking on them will bring up the reviews where those words are mentioned.

The new feature is still in the testing phase and is only available on the Amazon mobile app for users in the US. The company says it will continue to improve the feature, make it more accurate and cover an ever-wider range of products.
