Amazone: Most innovative medium-sized company

The consulting firm Munich Strategy has been analyzing the innovative strength of 4,000 medium-sized companies for the German magazine “Wirtschafts-Woche” since 2011. To do this, the consultants evaluate annual financial statements and presentations and interviews with executives and customers, as well as competitors. The consultants calculate an innovation score for a short list of 400 companies. One third of it comes from sales and profit improvement and two thirds from innovative strength. This includes how many and which new products a company brings to the market, how much it spends on research and development, and how innovative it is in the opinion of its competitors. As can now be seen in the newsletter “Trekker Talk”, in the 2024 assessment, Amazonen-Werke in Hasbergen-Gaste, an agricultural technology company, has placed itself at the top of this assessment.
