Jeff Bezos already owns a fifth of Rivian Automotive
Amazon has announced that it owns a fifth of the electric car company Rivian Automotive. So Jeff Bezos will try to compete with Elon Musk on another field, after space.
Bezos spent $ 1.3 billion to acquire a 20% stake in Rivian. Amazon has already ordered 10,000 electric pickups from the company, which should be expected in 2022.

The Rivian R1T electric pickup can start at -30 degrees Celsius, travel about 450 kilometers on a single charge, and a version capable of traveling over 500 kilometers is expected soon. The power is 800 hp.
The Rivian R1T is now available in the US market with a starting price of $ 60,000, after tax rebates.
Tesla’s electric pickup – Cybertruck, has not yet debuted on the market.
