The online retailer Amazon has his new Kindle portfolio presented. The clear highlight is the new Kindle Colorsoft, Amazon’s first e-book reader with a color display. The Colorsoft is accompanied by a revised version of the Kindle Scribe and a faster Kindle Paperwhite. In addition, the devices in the range have been expanded to include new functions to improve the reading and note-taking experience.
Kindle Colorsoft, Kindle Scribe, Kindle Paperwhite and the classic Kindle
Four new Kindle devices were introduced. The Kindle Paperwhite is available in both the regular version with 16 GB and in the so-called Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition with 32 GB of storage and alternative colors.

7-inch display, 25% faster page turning - Kindle ab 109,99 Euro
6-inch display, now also in matcha green
Kindle Colorsoft from 30 October
By far the most interesting of the new models is the Kindle Colorsoft, which is the first Kindle product ever to display colors on its display and is therefore in direct competition with products like the Boox GO or the Tolino Vision Color or Kobo Libra Color.
Users can display colorful book covers, images and highlights on the devices without having to forego familiar Kindle features such as glare-free reading and long battery life. The Kindle Colorsoft is waterproof and offers a battery life of up to eight weeks.

Revised Kindle Scribe
Amazon has also revised the Kindle Scribe, the large e-reader that also doubles as a digital notebook and has continually added new functions over the past two years.
The new Kindle Scribe now offers users the opportunity to write directly into books. Annotations in the text are dynamically integrated so that they are retained even if the book layout is changed. Visually, the new scribe has a white frame and a display with a paper-like texture, which promises a writing experience “like on paper”.

Faster Paperwhite
The new Kindle Paperwhite, which has always been the purchase recommendation for undecided users who have been toying with a Kindle, relies on more performance under the hood.
The new model is intended to deliver faster loading times and impress with the best-in-class contrast display in the entire Kindle portfolio. According to Amazon, turning pages is 25 percent faster than its predecessor, and the larger 7-inch display offers more space for reading.

Simple Kindle also in matcha green
Amazon also offers a particularly compact Kindle model with a 6-inch display, which is available in the new color matcha green. Despite the smaller size, the device has a high-resolution screen and long battery life.
