Amazon Partners with Fritz Meinecke for Season 3 of ‘7 vs. Wild’

Fritz Meinecke had actually ruled out a third season of his successful survival competition “7 vs. Wild” because the advance payment for production and implementation was too enormous for Meinecke and his team, as the YouTuber revealed in a video published on Wednesday. In the spring of this year, however, it was already announced that the format that had become known on YouTube would continue. This is due to a new partner of Fritz Meinecke, who could hardly be bigger: Amazon. This will have no influence on the content of the series and at the same time guarantees that “7 vs. Wild” can still be accessed free of charge. The third season will start with the advertising-financed and free streaming service Freevee. Amazon Freevee will release two episodes per week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, starting with Season 3 later this year. To get you in the mood for the new season, the first two seasons of “7 vs. Wild” will also be available on Amazon Freevee this summer alongside YouTube.

“Being able to watch the show on Freevee and YouTube marks the beginning of a new chapter for 7 vs. Wild. We’re excited to see what this will make possible in the future,” says video producer Fritz Meinecke, who, together with Johannes Hovekamp and Max Kovacs is responsible for the content of the production of the show. For the complex realization of the new season, the trio has brought in additional reinforcements. CaliVision Network GmbH, with its managing directors Dennis Kortuemm and André Schubert, is now acting as a production partner.
