Amazon: Parcel carrier finds the most brilliant hiding place in the world – but colleague goes one better

Good luck with the delivery: some Amazon parcels have to be well hidden by the messenger so that only the customer can find them.

If the Amazon messenger rings in vain, the question arises as to where the package should be placed. After all, the customer must also be able to find it. Some hiding places are really bizarre.

Munich – It is probably the ultimate challenge for every Amazon messenger. Where should the package be hidden if the customer is not at home or at least does not answer the door? The answer often requires ingenuity and skill.

After the order has been transported to its destination by van, and the deliverer has laboriously gained access to the property or the corridor of the apartment building, brooding can then begin if the worst comes to the worst.

Because one thing is clear, of course: It is essential to avoid the parcel falling into the wrong hands or being damaged by carelessness. So: where do you put it? Of course, due to the business philosophy of the online giant, the parcel delivery service does not have much time before they have to make a decision. And so the simplest of all solutions is used.

Amazon parcel brilliantly hidden: upright in front of the door and with a doormat on top

Probably the Amazon employee who only has a small souvenir in his hands. Because the greater the choice of storage locations. Unfortunately, that doesn’t really apply to the package that plays the main role in this story. It then rather belongs to the category of full-grown specimens. Which is why his hiding place was worth a tweet from a local resident.

Because he apparently discovered the package placed on edge in front of the apartment door in passing, but for better disguise the doormat was draped on top. Quite a nice attempt, but the strange structure should just attract the attention of passers-by.

Amazon package brilliantly hidden: Neighbor jokes on Twitter about bizarre structures

In any case, the said resident jokes: “The Amazon Easter Bunny hid the package so cleverly under the doormat, should I ring the bell briefly and tell my neighbors where to find it?” Not that the neighbor stumbles over it, because the shoes left in front of the door are now in the shadow of the package with the doormat on top. And most accidents are known to happen in the home.

At least it should be clear how the Amazon messenger should have named the storage location of the package: under the doormat.

The Amazon package is brilliantly hidden: the support team reacts and takes a counterattack straight away

Interestingly, the Group’s support team even responded to the tweet, apologized and recommended using the feedback function. However, the three sentences sounded like an answer that had already been sent a thousand times, which is why the Twitter friend wrote back slightly angry: “It’s great that you respond to tweets, but then I also ask you to read them and not prefabricated and unsuitable standard- Copy the answers below. “

Another Amazon messenger apparently read very carefully to what extent the selection of the storage location was restricted for him. Because in the responses to the tweet there is also a reference to a delivery that said it should not be parked in front of the door. However, there was no mention of the request to hand the parcel over to the neighbor or to deposit it in the nearest branch. So the order was on the wall next to the mailbox – attached with adhesive tape. A really imaginative hiding place. (mg)

Another Amazon messenger hid a package under a doormat and amused many Twitter users with it. Because of a late package, an Amazon messenger attacked a senior citizen. Amazon’s “Alexa” may have to be renamed, because angry mothers are going on the barricades. Because they became a “packing station” for their neighbors, tenants tore their hats.
