Amazon has entered into a partnership with TikTok et Pinterest : Users can now purchase products directly through social media apps. This partnership is currently only available in the United States.

US users of TikTok and Pinterest can link their profile to their Amazon account to make purchases and checkout directly, without leaving the social media app. The platform aims to optimize and facilitate the shopping experienceBloomberg reports. Social media selling is, after all, a booming business.
TikTok users will see Amazon’s product recommendations in their “For You” feed and will also receive information on pricing, Prime availability, and estimated delivery times. For TikTok, which has been firmly committed to expanding into the US, the partnership complements its own livestream shopping offering.
Pinterest is also expanding its partnership with Amazon with similar features. Previously, Amazon allowed “in-app shopping” via Facebook, Instagram, and SnapChat.
