Amazon Games’ policies continue to surprise. New World fans rushed to donate money to the company
Amazon Games has banned sales of MMOs on Russian Steam New World in March 2022. Recently, the Rise of the Angry Earth add-on was released for the game, which is freely sold on Russian Steam.
Judging by data Valve, addition New World Rise of the Angry Earth became the fifth largest company in terms of revenue on Russian Steam.
New World itself is still not sold in Russia, but the game page opens on Steam from the Russian Federation (usually the pages of such games are blocked).
