The end is coming. at least for Jeremy Clarkson and their programs The Grand Tour y Clarkson’s Farm if we accept the sources of Variety, which now announce that Amazon has decided to fire the legendary British presenter. This comes after several months of controversy surrounding (mainly) Meghan Markle, about whom Clarkson shared views in an article in The Sun newspaper.
“I hate it [a Meghan Markle]… I hate her on a cellular level… At night I am unable to sleep as I lie gnashing my teeth and dreaming of the day she will be paraded naked through the streets of every city in Britain while the crowds chant ‘Shame!’ and they throw pieces of excrement at him.”
It is not the first time that Clarkson has put himself in the eye of the hurricane and, as some may remember, he was also fired from the BBC after rumors about how he treated his then program team very badly. The future of The Grand Tour and Clarkson’s Farm is, therefore, very bleak and Amazon, according to the cited source, will not broadcast any more programs than those already recorded. In other words, 2024 will be the last year for both shows, if nothing new happens.
