PS5 is available in America and in other countries of the world starting from 12 November 2020. In Europe (including Italy) it is available from 19 of the same month.
As you know, the availability of the console has been rather reduced, also thanks to the global health emergency that has made everything even more complex.
Now, however, the news has arrived of a rather unfortunate case involving a courier of Amazon. Man has indeed stolen a PlayStation 5 destined for a boy as his birthday present, but it was immortalized in spite of himself by the CCTV cameras of the house of the English family of the Walkers, at the exact moment in which he decides not to deliver the package containing the PS5, but to put it back inside his van.
After being contacted by those directly involved, Amazon has started investigating the incident (first offering a refund to unfortunate buyers). The Walkers, however, have put their hand to the video recording, revealing the mystery: the courier actually stole the console.
Amazon then confirmed that it was his own courier and that he would have been fired for the incident. Here, just below, the official statement of the company a Oxford Mail:
We have very high standards for our delivery service providers and for the way they serve customers. The employee will no longer deliver on Amazon’s behalf.
At the end of the fair, the Walkers just have to wait for Sony to make other PS5s available, in order to be able – hopefully without any problems – to give a console to their son.
