Head of the Center for Technical Seismology, Potential Geophysics, and BMKG Timestamps, Rahmat Triyono, said that the total red lunar eclipse was invisible to the naked eye in the Jakarta area.
“This is because it is blocked by clouds on the East side, so it appears that the total lunar eclipse is not too clear directly from the naked eye. With a telescope and a laptop, it will be clearer,” said Rahmat Triyono, Wednesday (26/5/2021 ) afternoon.

However, this phenomenon can be clearly seen in the Papua region. “Meanwhile, towards the Middle and West, it is increasingly difficult to see with the naked eye. Especially if there is pollution in the capital and other technical matters, it will further obstruct direct vision, “he said.
