How often do you clean your jewelry?
Jewelry that you wear regularly should be cleaned every month. Also, jewelry with stones and without stones are cleaned differently. To keep your jewelry looking good, you shouldn’t wear it to play sports, swim in pools, work with chemicals, or do dirty work.
Soap and lemon juice
The easiest way to clean gold is to use regular soap. In addition to soap, prepare a cotton washcloth and lemon juice or citric acid. Wash gold earrings or rings with soap and rinse with warm water. Baking soda and aluminum foil
Baking soda is also used to clean gold. Put the aluminum foil in a smaller pot, put the gold on it and cover it with the baking soda. Pour water on your jewelry, let it boil for a while, and then rinse. The impurities will be released by themselves.
Correct storage
Always store your jewelry in dark places without direct sunlight. Jewelry boxes are best suited. Also, don’t bathe or sleep with them: they could get scratched or get various dirt. With proper use and storage, it will stay clean and shiny for a long time.
