This was a good period for the visitors, with several opportunities to take the lead, particularly when Leipcigo slipped through the defense on the right to come up alone against Christopheris Nkunku, but the home side’s keeper showed his lightning reflexes.

The Rangers Club made it to the European finals after a 14-year hiatus.

In the next semi-final, Eintracht broke West Ham United in London 1-0. The first match ended in a 2: 1 victory for the German team.

The English needed to clear the deficit, but the mission became much more difficult as early as 19 minutes when Aaron Cresswell received the red card. Judas Gilas was shown a yellow card after 30 minutes for slicing down an opponent.

Rafaelis Borre’s fine footwork caused nothing but headaches for Ansgaro Knauffo. The keeper wasn’t fooled however, and confidently scooped up the ball.

Throughout the match, the atmosphere at Frankfurt Stadium was simply amazing, and there was no shortage of incident before the match. On the eve of the match, Eintracht fans attacked the English fans – at least two of them were taken to the hospital unconscious.

After the final whistle, the fans of the Frankfurt team crashed into the field – they will play in the final of the European tournament for the first time in 42 years.
