Rafaelis Borre’s fine footwork caused nothing but headaches for Ansgaro Knauffo. The keeper wasn’t fooled however, and confidently scooped up the ball.
Throughout the match, the atmosphere at Frankfurt Stadium was simply amazing, and there was no shortage of incident before the match. On the eve of the match, Eintracht fans attacked the English fans – at least two of them were taken to the hospital unconscious.
After the final whistle, the fans of the Frankfurt team crashed into the field – they will play in the final of the European tournament for the first time in 42 years.
