Cirebon – Residents of Cirebon Regency, West Java were shocked by the discovery of a mysterious figure suspected of being ‘tuyul’. This incident took place in Buyut Village, Gunungjati District, Cirebon Regency.
Video footage showing the discovery of the mysterious figure has also gone viral on social media and messaging applications. In the video, it appears that a number of residents are huddled together to see the alleged ‘tuyul’ figure.
According to one resident in the local village, Suwardi (80), the object suspected of being ‘tuyul’ was first discovered by a small child. When he found the object, the child was playing near a ditch.
“So when he found the object, the child said ‘that’s tuyul, that’s tuyul’,” said Suwardi when met in Buyut Village, District, Gunungjati, Cirebon Regency, Monday (28/3/2022).

Suddenly, a number of residents who happened to be not far from the child finally approached to see the object. Some residents even had time to record the incident.
To avoid things that are not desirable, Suwardi finally took the initiative to bring the object that is suspected of being ‘tuyul’ to his house for safekeeping.
According to Suwardi, in shape, the object resembles a human baby, which has a face, nose, hands, feet and others. While the size is only about 5 cm high.
“The shape is similar to that of a child. But the size is at most about 5 cm,” said Suwardi.
When brought back to his house, Suwardi had time to silence the object for 3 hours. Because he did not give any reaction or movement, Suwardi finally decided to burn the object.
