Amazfit has officially introduced the new affordable Bip 5 smart watch. It is also heading straight to the Czech market. Their main attraction is not only the light body weighing 26 grams, but also the large IPS display with a diagonal of 1.91″. It operates with an average resolution of 320 × 380 pixels.
Although the body of the watch is plastic, this does not prevent increased resistance. IP68 degree of protection is met, which means that the watch is not affected by dust or immersion in water. In practice, it will therefore be possible to swim with them. After all, swimming is one of more than 120 sports activities that the watch can measure. Speaking of numbers, you’ll be able to set one of 70 different watch faces on the display.
Of course, Bip 5 can measure blood oxygenation, heart rate, stress level and sleep. During outdoor sports activities, you will appreciate the GPS, when the watch records the progress of the training even when it is not paired with the phone via Bluetooth. The watch also serves as an extension of your smartphone, so it informs you about missed events, and you can even make a call through it. There is a microphone and speaker on the body.
Inside the watch is a battery with a capacity of 300 mAh, which, according to the manufacturer, theoretically promises up to 26 days per charge in power saving mode. With normal use, the manufacturer says 10 days, which doesn’t sound bad at all.
You can already buy Amazfit Bip 5 on the Czech market in black, white or pink variants. The price is set at 2,190 CZK.
