Amandine makes the decision herself and leaves 'Love Island': “I'm already too deep in this to look for someone new”

TVOn Monday evening, tensions ran high in the villa of ‘Love Island’. Especially when Amandines (20) love-interest Jules (24) decided to reconnect with candidate Lisa (27) after a visit to Casa Amor. She could no longer watch as he and Lisa grew closer.

Reconnections in the Streamzseries ‘Love Island’ always creates the necessary tension. But this time things got out of hand. Amandine had a hard time when Jules decided to exchange her for the Flemish Lisa. His decision therefore results in a very drastic decision by Amandine.

Although 20-year-old Amandine has never really experienced love, the spark between her and Jules has started to fly slightly in recent weeks. They were one of Love Island’s most popular couples. But when Amandine was waiting for him alone at the fire pit, Jules dropped a large bomb as he walked up to Lisa with Lisa. Their fledgling love had not survived the test of Casa Amor.

At the time, Amandine reacted very calmly to the event. She also indicated that she understood the new couple. But Amandine’s feelings for Jules turned out to be deeper than expected. “I’d just like to leave so I don’t have to see Jules’s head again,” she said in the middle of the episode.

Those feelings were followed later in the episode, when Amandine made the drastic decision to leave the villa. “Everyone saw it coming, everyone saw what happened,” Amandine tells the group. “I’m already too deep into this to look for someone new. Now I’m not doing that either. I’ve opened myself up, but I don’t mean to stay here if you know there’s nothing left in there. So I’m going to leave you soon.”
