Mr. Amanatidis described the specific action of PPC as a “mistake”, pointing out that he hopes that the threat of power cut will not be carried out. Mr. Amanatidis also mentioned that at the moment there is a text that needs to be approved, with the aim of all parties involved reaching a mutually acceptable solution. “We are in a phase where we have a text on which we must make our positive decisions because the matter is very serious,” he stressed. The Regional Governor underlined the importance of unity and cooperation in this difficult period, saying that “in difficult times we must be together”.

In the context of the negotiation, Mr. Amanatidis assumed the role of coordinator to reach a common recommended proposal, which will be accepted by both the Ministry and PPC.
