This summer, Amalie Snøløs (25) was able to reveal that she and her boyfriend Ole Emil Frikstad (27) had become engaged.
– We have been in a lot in the last year, due to illness. Now we are on top of the world together. It feels great. I have found myself the most down to earth, patient, humble and kindest boy. I look forward to everything we will do together. But first we have to build a cabin together on Hovden. Then there will be a wedding and party next summer, she could tell Dagbladet in June.

Want abroad
This week, she tells Dagbladet that the two have not come very far in the planning of the wedding, but that they are considering several alternatives.
– We have a great desire to get married abroad, in Italy, Croatia or France. But we have to look at the corona situation, it’s nice to get married at home too. I’ve seen a lot of dresses, but have not found anything yet. Now it’s mostly in work clothes. I work as a project consultant on a real estate project a week, we also build a cabin this weekend, so it has been busy, she says.
Snøløs reveals that the wedding will be of the traditional type, and that it will be a white dress and a proper wedding party.
– We are looking forward to getting married!
Will build house
The fiancé is a carpenter and draftsman, and the couple have designed the cabin they set up themselves. They expect it to be ready by spring, and they do most of it themselves.

– It is incredibly fun to learn how to set up a building. We have probably had 24 drafts, I have made adjustments all the time. But there are no cabins that are exactly like ours, and it is very fun.
The couple will also move together next summer, and have therefore started looking for land where they can build a house. So it does not look like Snøløs will move out of his work trousers in the near future.
– But we are open to everything. If something else emerges that is perfect. We could well have lived in an apartment in the city, she says.

Back to the spotlight
The 25-year-old currently lives in the barn of his family in Birkeland, while Frikstad lives in Hovden where they build a cabin.
Among other things, Snøløs has been seen on screen in the TV 2 series “Let The Game Begin”, where they each lead their own e-sports team in various competitions. Now, however, Snøløs is busy at home and at work, and prioritises it in the spotlight.
