Fiorella Mannoia, Geolier, Dargen D’amico, Emma, Fred De Palma, Angelina Mango, La Sad, Diodato, Il Tre, Renga and Nek, Sangiovanni, Alfa and Il Volo, Alessandra Amoroso, Gazzelle, Negramaro, Irama, Rose Villain, Mahmood, Loredana Bertè, The Kolors, Big Mama, Ghali, Annalisa, Mr Rain, Maninni, Rich and poor. These are the 27 artists competing in the next edition of the Sanremo Festival, revealed by Amadeus on Tg1.
The three who win the youth competition will be added to the list of 27.
Amadeus: ‘The singers competing are the real super guests’
The competing singers “are really my super guests, the real protagonists of the Festival. I can’t wait for February 6th to let everyone listen to them”. Amadeus said this, revealing the list of competitors for the next Sanremo Festival to Tg1.
The number of big names competing was surprisingly increased from 23 to 27, with a change to the Festival regulations. The total number of competitors will be 30: the last three artists will get to know each other after the Sanremo Giovani competition, scheduled for 19 December live on Rai1 from the Casino Theater of the City of Flowers.
During the edition, an image of the Ariston scenography for the event scheduled from Tuesday 6 February to Saturday 10 February was also shown.
“I received and listened to over 400 songs, an enormous quantity of proposals which once again underlines the appeal of the Festival for the recording market. The choice is always difficult, but I hope to repeat the results of the last editions which have been seen for months the songs from Sanremo at the top of the listening and sales charts. This year more than ever my super guests are competing! Long live Sanremo”, said Amadeus again, commenting on the list of the big names competing at the next Festival. Compared to last year – Rai underlines in a note – the number of competing artists has therefore expanded, rising from 22 to 27, a record for Sanremo. In total, including the 3 winners of Sanremo Giovani, there will therefore be 30 big names who will perform in the event at the Ariston starting from 6 February 2024. The change has been consistently implemented in the regulations.
