Amadeus breaks the silence on the ratings of AmaSanremo: “Unexpected result”
Last night on Rai 1, immediately after the episode of Doc-In your hands with Luca Argentero, went on the air AmaSanremo. The program is led by Amadeus and has the purpose of selecting the young singers who will participate in the next Sanremo Festival. The ratings however weren’t great, but instead for Amadeus was an unexpected success. The conductor, in fact, on his Instagram a few hours ago said:
We want to thank the audience. 1.9 million with 10% share. For us and the boys it is an incredible and unexpected result. Maybe someone was expecting higher ratings or a higher share. This is not a format, it is not a television mechanism.

Second Amadeus plays AmaSanremo they are not at all disappointing indeed it is actually an excellent result if we consider that it is not a well-tested format or program but a showcase for young artists. Amadeus revealed: “We could have asked for a more protected space, a different, nocturnal band, but it would be hypocritical: how to say, I focus on young people but hide them.”
