Curriculum vitae
Alyona earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology (Biophysics) from Lomonosov MSU, Russia, in 2021, and she’s currently pursuing a Master’s in Neuroengineering (MSNE) at TUM. She collaborates with the Neuroengineering Materials group, focusing on developing setups for applying electromagnetic fields. Additionally, her thesis revolves around 3D microfabrication of MEAs for cell recordings.
Her research interests lie in advancing neurointerfaces for recording and stimulation, exploring neural functions in the brain and brain organoids on microchips. Her ultimate goal is to leverage neurotechnologies for the betterment of the world. Apart from her academic pursuits, Alyona finds joy in yoga, various forms of art, and spending time in nature.
