New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara was not listed on Friday’s injury report after participating in full practice this week. That puts him on course to play against the New York Jets on Sunday, NOLA.com’s Amie Just reports.
Kamara has missed the last four games with a knee injury. He was almost ready to play last week, head coach Sean Payton said Friday.
The four-time Pro Bowler leads the Saints with 840 scrimmage yards and seven touchdowns despite playing just eight games this season.
Veteran Mark Ingram, who took over as running back for New Orleans while Kamara was out, was recently placed on the COVID-19 list and his status for Sunday is uncertain.
The Saints head into Week 14 looking to break a five-game losing streak.
