Monday, February 1, work began on the development of the fitness trail which will be located in the wood of the chestnut grove (next to the communal orchard and the bee oasis) near the hamlet of Malaudes. The Renard company (specialist in sports facilities) was responsible for this work, assisted by Clément Bouysse, a public works contractor in Alvignac.
Despite the difficult weather conditions, the work lasted the whole week and has just been completed. This fitness trail with 12 pieces of equipment will be complemented by a running circuit with several loops (1 km, 3 and 4 km). With this equipment, everyone will be able to practice an outdoor sport activity at their own pace, according to their age and physical condition. It will simply be necessary to wait a few days for the paths soaked by heavy rains and marked by the works to be a little more passable.
