Altruistic Action for Hospitalized Children: Wooden Christmas Sleighs Filled with Sweetness

For three years, as the Christmas holidays approach, she has not deviated from “altruistic action” which is close to her heart and which she carries out for children hospitalized at the Brabois University Hospital in Nancy. Fanny has imagined an operation through which she offers wooden Christmas sleighs, engraved with the names of little patients. “As soon as I sell ten, I reserve the eleventh for them,” she explains. This mother of three fills the donated sleds with sweets. “I submitted 25 in 2021, 32 in 2022,” she reports.

“Gifts filled with sweetness”

Fanny Gulec has no shortage of ideas and wants to gain visibility. She visits trade shows and will be present at the Sierck-les-Bains Christmas market on weekends from the end of November. She has decided not to open her workshop to the public, her website is her only showcase (fee-des-cadeaux.com). She lists everything she personalizes. She sews, cuts, engraves on various supports (glasses, wooden objects, children’s water bottles, fabric bags, etc.).

The entrepreneur makes birth or wedding boxes, “I like gifts filled with sweetness”. She also works with a Danish brand which focuses on fair trade and distributes wool figurines handmade in Nepal. “There too, I can add my personal touch,” she smiles.
